This Grand Hotel Riviera is hands down one of our favorite properties in Sorrento and not only do we love the hotel itself, but also the staff, the food, the wonderful open spaces and the Mediterranean sea which sets the scene for spectacular sunsets each evening.

Set on a cliff top looking out over the Gulf of Naples, quite literally right on top of the water and in fact, it's a magical scene, where right from the hotel, you take an elevator down to its secluded private beach, where you can bathe in the panoramic outdoor pool.

Located just 500 m from Sorrento's main square, Grand Hotel Riviera's beautiful gardens and terraces ensure you a peaceful and relaxing stay. The pool is surrounded by palms and eucalyptus trees and have views of the sea and Mount Vesuvius.

Enjoy drinks at the snack bar before relaxing in the outdoor hot tub. Grand Hotel Riviera's beach is well-equipped with sun loungers, changing rooms, showers and a bar, and you can even go snorkeling here. Grand Hotel Riviera has an American bar with a grand piano, a restaurant serving international cuisine and a lounge with a huge sea-view terrace. Enjoy a rich buffet breakfast with fresh-baked local products here from 07:00 until 10:00.

Local buses leave from close to Grand Hotel Riviera and you can organize a variety of activities at reception, from scuba-diving to boat rental.
